Applicants are required to submit a business plan for the entrepreneurial venture of education including a written description of the business, funds required to start the business, research completed to develop the plan and the overall goal of their project. Applications are due March 1 of each year.

Over the past three years the outpouring of support and generosity from people, families and businesses across Saskatchewan has been absolutely incredible. The bursary has been able to award about $136,000.00 to 41 students across south west Saskatchewan. The projects have been innovative, unique, creative and include a lot of determination and hard work from each applicant. Applications have been granted for businesses including: pigs, chickens, bred heifers, horses, dogs, bison, open heifers, various types of secondary education, growing and harvesting potatoes, sheep, geese, bulls, cattle embryos and melting bee wax.
