Our hearts broke this August when two of our own; Justin Hok, Erik Christensen, and their families were shattered with the sudden loss of little Aarit Hok.
Justin & Catherine Hok have now donated a bred heifer for sale in memory of Aarit with all proceeds going towards the Brooks & District Health Foundation.
“On December 3rd @ 12:00 pm Bow Slope Shipping Association will be auctioning off a heifer in memory of our little angel, Aarit Christian Hok. We have a dear spot in our hearts for the Brooks Hospital. They did everything they could to try and save our boy. All proceeds made from the bred heifer will be going towards the Brooks & District Health Foundation in the hopes that paediatric care can be improved within the hospital. We miss you so much buddy” ~ Catherine Hok
The Brooks & District Health Foundation has set up a paediatric fund in memory of Aarit, the fund will continue to grow and be a lasting legacy in his memory in support of paediatric care at Brooks Health Centre. Donations can be made to the Brooks & District Health Foundation by dropping off at the Brooks Health Centre, mailing to Bag 300, Brooks, AB T1R 1B3, donate through ATB Financial atbcares.com (ATB matches an additional 20%). Please note donation to "Paediatric Care".
