| General Comments: | 100% Charolais sired and none out of first calf heifers! These Oxbow calves were nice and green with lots of hair last fall and I would expect the same this fall. These ranch calves are young and don't start hitting the ground until the end of April and with a November weaning could see some weather and know what silage is while still on their moms. We put in a big day when we wean these and the condition is in the buyers favor, the calves will be green and lean and fun to feed! If they buyers are interested Oxbow would also custom feed these calves on a backgrounding ration until spring too, which they did successfully last year with the heifers. We have lots of inventory to work with, expect 2 nice loads of these Charolais sired beauties this fall! +/- with sort. |
