| General Comments: | Have a look at this great listing! About half home-raised heifers from R & W's commercial herd (pink tags) and half locally sourced NVB heifers (blue tags). This is a tightly sorted set of light-fleshed, good-haired Angus heifers that are all very quiet and nice to handle. Decent frame for the weight and great light flesh with all the straw in the ration. These heifers are doing about 1.7 lbs/day and are perfect for a grass program or keep on feeding. We have 7 or 8 to come off still to fit the truck, so reds or brockles can come off at buyer's request. Check out the pictures and video! The feedlot could feed these heifers up to May 1st for the new buyer if arrangements are made prior to sale. |
