Hi, my name is Dasan Periard. I’m 15 years old and this is my first year in beef 4-H. I played hockey in Strathmore for the U18A team, and I also golf and rodeo. This year I have learned a lot from my steer, Big John -from feed variations to grooming and taking care of him. I joined 4-H to meet new people and thought it would be a great way to learn more about agriculture. This year in 4-H has been very fun and definitely worth it.
