My name is Kaylee Nielsen and this is my second year with the Rockyford 4H Beef Club. My calf, Mike, is a straight bred Black Angus steer. His starting weight was 892 pounds. My goal for Mike this year is for him to be bigger than my calf last year. Mike is fed a 4H ration from Superior Feeds, as well as hay, twice a day. My favourite part of raising Mike is the funny things he does when you wash him, like sticking his tongue out when you rub his back. I hope to see you at this year's Show & Sale!
