SALE CONDITIONS
1.The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute is reserved by the auctioneer. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
2.Terms of the sale are cash, personal cheques (with proper identification only), or credit card (plus 5% surcharge) – NO EXCEPTIONS
3.All horses are subject to a $100 plus 2% sales commission whether sold or unsold on final bid price.
4.As each horse is sold, an “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PURCHASE” will be handed to the buyer for signature. Please write clearly, giving full name and address. Registration papers will be mailed to this address so it must be clear and accurate.
5.Horses become the property of the buyer upon signing the “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PURCHASE” and the buyer assumes all risks and expenses of the horses from this time hence.
6.Upon receiving payment, the clerk will mark the “ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PURCHASE” paid, at which point it becomes your order to obtain delivery. A $100 handling fee will be assessed for each returned check received.
7.All horses are offered for sale according to the laws of the Province of Alberta, and the right to bid is reserved for all sellers in this sale unless otherwise announced (classified as a buyback).
8.Unless waived by announcement, there shall be an upset price of $500 for any aged horse entering the sale's ring and an upset price of $1000 for any yearling entering the sale's ring.
9.All registration papers will be held by the Sale Management until all cheques are cleared. As such time they, along with the transfer certificate and fees, will be mailed to the AQHA for transfer to the new owner(s). Transfer fees will be billed to the consignor as per AQHA's current Rules and Regulations found under TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP.
10. There is NO WARRANTY express or implied by AQHRA, Auctioneers and employees. The consignor agrees to guarantee the horse to be sound and as represented. ALL HORSES ARE SOLD “AS IS”.
11.RIGHT OF RETURN: Any horse whose condition is as aforesaid and is not so announced at the time of sale, said entry will be subject to return to consignor at the discretion of the purchaser with refund of purchase price, provided that the consignor and AQHRA are notified in writing by the purchaser with veterinarian certificate attached, stating the defect, within twenty-four (24) hours of conclusion of the sale in which the horse(s) is purchased. In case of return, consignor shall pay all proper expenses incurred in the horse from the time of sale until return to the consignor. All warranties set forth in this agreement shall terminate no later than twenty-four (24) hours from the conclusion of the sale in which the horse(s) is purchased, after which purchaser shall have no right of return of any horse for any reason whatsoever.
12. The Accuracy of all information of the catalog page(s) is in the sole responsibility of the consignor. Consignor is to report any inaccuracies to AQHRA so that is may make an appropriate announcement at time of sale.
13.All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk.
14.Buyers intending to export horses to the U.S. must obtain an international health paper.
15.Horses to be removed from the sale premises by 12:00pm, Noon, Saturday September 20th, 2025.
