Star Lake Beef (1987) #35
#35 was born to Edie Creek Erica on our farm in the spring of 2020 and was selected from the group to become our “heifer bull” as we were building a new herd for our retirement years; raising/growing our own replacement females annually. Coincidentally, his grandfather was MH Titan 752, which pleased us greatly. Our main goal with first calf heifers is to have a live, thriving calf on the ground. With #35 being the sire, we were very successful, with minimal assistance in calving over the years. C-sections were unheard of. As an aggressive breeder he also preferred to keep his heifers in a tight group on pasture. #35 has some size to him, but his calves are born easily. Scored 92% on his semen quality this spring, with 40 cm scrotal. Maintains his condition on a forage-based diet.
