Sale features 481 head including:
••120 Home Raised Red & Black Heifers with a 21 day bull exposure from Evergreen Cattle Co., the Ivy’s from the Ituna district. They are to begin calving April 25th, with a short calving window & were bred to Moose Creek Red Angus easy calving bulls. Heard has been on a full Pfizer health vaccination program.
••Dispersal of 35 Char & Red Cows for Greg Campion from the Pipestone District. These cows were bred to Red Angus bulls and will begin calving at the start of April. These cows have always produced good calves as we have market them for years.
••Reduction of 80 mainly Red & Black Cows from Branden Fruend, Longhaul Farms from Steinbach MB. They will consist of a lot of 3 to 6 year old cows that are due to begin calving March 29th with a 60 day exposure. They were bred to Black Baldie Simm bulls from reputable operations. They have been on a full herd health program and have good temperaments.
••Reduction of 40 Mainly Blacks with a few Reds from Dale McAuley. These cows are upto date on their vaccinations & are in great condition. They were exposed to Black Simm bulls and will start to calve March 15th.
••Reduction of 25 Red & Black Cows from the Last’s. Fully vaccinated on this herd, and will start to calve in mid March. The Blacks were bred to Black Angus and the Reds were bred to Red Angus.
